Zak Group designed and developed the website of Dazed Studio, the global creative agency founded by the Dazed magazine team.

Dazed Studio puts its brand partners at the centre of global youth culture by working across a myriad of media and disciplines. In contrast to the group’s other properties, such as Dazed Digital, the challenge of the Studio’s website was to clearly and directly present complex case studies.

Through a series of collaborative workshops we developed an editorial approach that allows Dazed Studio to author coherent pages using a disparate range of media. Case study pages contain a carefully edited selection of content ranging from communications strategy to styling, film, photography and print.

The Dazed Studio front-end is built as a single page application (SPA) using Nuxt.js application framework. For the backend we used Sanity, an open-source fully-customisable headless CMS built in React.js. Finally, it was deployed to Zeit, a global serverless platform, using Now.
