On the occasion of Marc Camille Chaimowicz exhibition “Zig Zag and Many Ribbons…” at the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne (MAMC), Zak Group was commissioned to design the exhibition catalogue in collaboration with the artist for his first major exhibition in France. Co-published by les presses du reel, Reverie, Its Practice and Means of Display revisits the conceptual and sensorial developments pursued by the artist since the 1970s. The book includes a series of original drawings by Chaimowicz, alongside a key text by art historian Marie Canet. A custom ribbon drawn by the artist is inserted as a bookmark, and produced by the historical French textile manufacturer Neyret.
