In addition to our work on the exhibition design of After Year Zero at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in 2013, we designed the catalogue that would accompany the exhibition as it travelled to Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie (Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw) in 2015. The catalogue’s design closely follows the visual vocabulary established in the exhibition’s first iteration including a toolset of graphic symbols. Materials were chosen for their exceptional tactile and textural qualities, including black-on-black foil blocking used on a paperback cover.
