Zak Group launches Culture is Not Cancelled t-shirts in support of cultural institutions

Zak Group launched the Culture Is Not Cancelled campaign last year to advocate for cooperation and solidarity within the creative community. Fast-forward to 2021, this call-to-action is more relevant than ever for creatives from all fields. Twenty percent of the proceeds from each edition of the Culture Is Not Cancelled T-shirt will be donated to a different pioneer in the cultural field.

The first partnership will support Chisenhale Gallery, a non-profit located in the heart of London’s East End. The gallery has an award-winning, 38-year history as one of London's most innovative forums for art production and presentation. Chisenhale Gallery has a reputation for identifying new talent and commissions international and UK-based artists to make their most ambitious work to date. Recent solo exhibitions include Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Ima-Abasi Okon, Imran Perretta and Thao Nguyen Phan. Between 22 May and 18 July 2021 Chisenhale Gallery is showing Wasted Mud, the first solo exhibition in a UK institution by Shanghai based artist Yu Ji.
